I deleted several email messages. Why am I still getting quota warnings?

Messages in your Trash folder count against your quota. Empty the Trash folder and then check your storage space.

To see your current quota usage in megabytes and by percentage, log in to Webmail and hover the cursor over your name in the upper right corner.

To free up storage space in Webmail:

  • Discard unneeded items. Check the item's checkbox and click Delete.
  • Empty the trash. Right-click (CTRL+click on a Mac) and select Empty Trash to permanently delete those items.
  • Delete large messages and attachments.

To search for messages by size:

  1. Log on to Webmail.
  2. Click the Size heading.
