I'm using Mac iCal. How do I stop reminders from a shared calendar?

In iCal, ctrl+click the shared calendar. Select Get Info > Ignore Reminders > OK.

To turn off iCal reminders from a shared calendar:

  1. In iCal, right-click or ctrl+click the shared calendar.
  2. Choose Get Info.
  3. Select the Ignore Reminders checkbox.
  4. Click OK.
